In the works we are now going to describe, Aita uses an approach very different from the previous one. If the sculpture-lamps were the result of a huge manual work, made of long search for the most proper piece of wood and its assembly, now the base is the graphical editing on screen of what she wants to create. Once the digital form is created, the artist uses the laser carving technique on wood to realise the work she will then complete drilling, carving and chiselling with her hands.
